I was delighted when mom asked me to be the Hunterdon County Newborn Photographer for her new daughter. I photographed her older sister, Gabriella, about two years ago, so knew the family already. Little Lucia was in the NICU for a few days after her birth, so we rescheduled our photo session from our original date. I’m happy to report that she was all well and healthy when she came in to the studio.
Tara wanted to bring some props of her own to include. The pretty princess carriage is hers, as is the elegant tiara Lucia wore for some of her pictures. She also wanted to include flowers, some swaddle poses, and lots of pink! I love doing girly photo sessions, so was happy to oblige! As a Hunterdon County Newborn Photographer I always encourage my clients to make their experience personal and special. If they have any special props and momentos, they are welcome to bring them.
I knew we wanted to get some photos of the two girls together. I always send my client a pre-session questionnaire to fill out beforehand so I can get a better idea of exactly what they’re looking for. Tara mentioned that she would love to capture Gabriella’s love for her baby sister in a special photo. Sibling photos are wonderful, and Gabriella, really does adore her little sister. It was great to be able to capture that budding relationship.
This family ended up loving their photos so much that they upgraded their package. Lucia’s session made this Hunterdon County Newborn Photographer very happy. When my clients are happy, I’m happy.
