Union County NJ Rainbow Baby Photo Session
I loved being a part of this Union County NJ Rainbow Baby Photo Session. All rainbow babies are special and I am always so humbled to be a small part of their lives.
Julienne’s Rainbow Baby Journey
Back in September I’ve received a Union County NJ Rainbow Baby Photo Session application from Julianne. She was referred by a friend Dana whose daughter I’ve photographed few years back. After reading Julianne’s story I knew right away I just have to give her and her family this Union County NJ Rainbow Baby Photo Session. Read the story in her own words .
” We are due with our rainbow baby boy on December 4th, but planning our c-section for thanksgiving eve! Our story: we had our daughter, Savannah, July 15, 2015. After 36+ hours of labor and 4 alone of pushing she entered the world except everything was chaotic. She was unresponsive and was not breathing and was immediately rushed to the NICU.
After days of testing we found out that she had lost oxygen and blood flow to her brain during our rough delivery, the medical term is Hypoxic Ischemic Encephalopathy (HIE). She was in the NICU for a month where she finally regained consciousness, but then was transferred to Children’s Specialized Hospital in New Brunswick where they could better rehabilitate her and show us how we were going to adjust to our new normal as new parents.
We needed to learn how to use a G-tube, she could not eat through her mouth and do different exercises with her to help her tight muscles. She finally came home on October 19, 2015. While home we set up many therapies and had nursing for when we had to go back to work. She was a tough little girl who beat many odds. Unexpectedly exactly two weeks before her first birthday, Savannah was granted her angel wings. The loss was unimaginable tough, but we knew our little angel was at peace.
We got married in 2017 and wanted to start a family right away. We tried for months and nothing was happening so I consulted a my OBGYN. I got a chromosome test done and found out that I had a chromosomes abnormality and what does it effect, Fertility of course. We then were transferred to a reproductive institute where I underwent two egg retrieval’s and then we transferred our little embryo on March 19th.
Here comes Kodah. He is so loved already and we know his big sister was there every step of the way helping us and guiding us. He is our light at the end of our dark tunnel, our little rainbow baby and we can’t wait to meet this little blessing that we prayed so hard for. ”

Talking about a perfect model for this Union County NJ Rainbow Baby Photo Session! Kodah (whose name I absolutely adore) was amazing during his entire session. Cute as can be, with a head full of dark hair and gorgeous big brown eyes. I was able to go through my usual workflow and try some new poses as well. I had this bed pose in mind for the longest time and Kodah was perfect for it.
Julianne helped me by supporting his head and I finished the image in photoshop. It turned out even cuter then I’ve imagined. He looked so cozy in that sweet little bed I got from one of my favorite vendors Rozzi Rayne.
This little boy could care less of what I was doing with him, he slept peacefully and didn’t wake up till the very end. Even when awake he was one of the most relaxed babies I’ve ever photographed. What a blessing to have a baby with such amazing personality. I loved how this Union County NJ Rainbow Baby Photo Session turned out.

This Union County NJ Rainbow Baby Photo Session may have been free, but she did not let that change the outcome of her photos- they are all so beautiful and we are so thankful for her rainbow baby program.
