Yellow Lollipop Photography is an Edison NJ newborn photographer, based in Whitehouse Station. I specialize in maternity, newborn and children’s portraiture and serve all of central and north New Jersey. I have many years of experience and training in newborn posing and safety, and pride myself on delivering quality products to my clients.
Session Planning
Goldie and Brandon were expecting their baby girl on February 10th but she decided to arrive a few days before. Since I had an opening due to a rescheduled session, I was able to fit them in sooner. It happened to be right on little Brooklyn’s actual due date 🙂 Goldie was open to any colors and set-ups. She gave me free rein to do what I thought would look beautiful. Well, she needed to say no more!
Preparing for sessions and choosing all the props and accessories is one of my favorites activities. I go into my studio and surround myself with tons of adorable, tiny little dresses, headbands, wraps, beds. It’s like being 6 again and playing with your dolls and doll house. One more reason to love my job! It brings me back to my happy childhood !
Session Details
When I say Brooklyn was amazing, I mean it a hundred times over! Not only was she gorgeous but super sleepy and cuddly. Oh, I would just keep her to myself if I could. I chose some soft pinks for her as well as well as some creams and beige. For a splash of color I went with purple. It ended up looking spectacular with Brooklyn’s skin tone. Every photo I edited was better than the last. I love sessions like these but I don’t envy Goldie and Brandon when it comes the time to choose their favorites. This one made Edison NJ Newborn Photographer heart very happy.
