The Art of Kids Photography
Kristen and Maddie have been coming to me for a few years now, so I feel like I am their official Bucks County PA Kids Photographer. I am sure there are other photographers closer to where they live, but they always take the time to come to Yellow Lollipop Photography for their sessions. I truly appreciate that! Photography is not about clicking buttons on a fancy camera 🙂 It’s an art of creating an unforgettable memory that will be cherished for years to come. To do that, a photographer must not only be properly technically trained, but know how to capture emotion… that one little moment when the child is exploring, thinking, smiling, being shy…all those little special things that make them unique. If you can evoke an emotion from people looking at your photographs, you are a true artist!
Maddie’s Birthday Session
Maddie was turning two so this was a birthday session. When she got the studio, it was clear that she was not in the mood to take photos that day. I know a lot of parents worry when their child isn’t in the mood for pictures. They’ll ask me if I got at least one smiley photo, and most of the time they are pleasantly surprised at what I was able to capture. I am a hands-on Bucks County PA Kids Photographer. I will sit on the floor with your little one, play peek-a-boo, tickle them silly, and sing songs like no one else! Also–I can impersonate ELMO so well, kids often look all over the room for him 🙂
I absolutely love doing birthday sessions for my returning clients! It’s so exciting to see how much they’ve grown. Maddie has become such a big girl already and is so adorable. Her smile is still so pure and innocent…she has not mastered the “say cheese” smile that comes around the 3rd birthday 🙂 Looking at the photos below you would have never guessed she was not in a happy mood that day! In a nutshell, that’s what I do: create magic.
