Looking for Bergen County NJ Newborn Photography Session? So were Emma’s parents–and they found me! I provide maternity, newborn, children’s, and family photography for many places in New Jersey and the surrounding areas. Newborn photography is my passion and I love welcoming babies to my studio.
Newborn Photography Session Details
I was a little worried that Emma wouldn’t sleep during her Bergen County NJ Newborn Photography session. I usually have parents bring new babies in during the first couple of weeks of life. They are sleepier and more flexible at that early age. Emma was ten weeks old at the time we did her baby pictures, so I wasn’t sure how it would go. As it turned out, she was a dream to photograph! Although Emma was awake at first, she soon fell asleep and let me do whatever I wanted.
Even though Emma was older, we still got lots of beautiful images. We used several swaddles, which she seemed to like. One of my favorite prop vendor is Mia Joy Studio . They make the most amazing, great quality wraps and outfits for tiny babies. Another favorite vendor I showcased in Emma’s photos is Bailey’s Knits . I have been using their wooden heart prop any chance I get . Emma is a gorgeous little girl with such perfect skin and hair that she looks like a doll in all the set ups.
Booking Your Newborn Photography Shoot
If you’re expecting your own little bundle, I recommend you book a spot as early as possible. I will never turn a baby away because they’re “too old” for newborn photos, but the truth is that getting good baby pictures is easier when your little one is younger. My studio also gets very busy, and my schedule fills up fast. However, Emma’s newborn images are a great example of what can be done with a baby over two weeks old.
