Somerset NJ Newborn Photography

Shannon and Billy reached out to set up a Somerset NJ newborn photography session when they were expecting their first baby, Liam. Billy works with my husband, so he knew about my photography business through him. I’m so glad they’ve chosen me to do the newborn photography session for their little guy!

Shannon went into labor a few weeks early, so we had to schedule the session for a little sooner than originally planned. Everything went well though, and Liam is a healthy and happy baby.

Harry Potter Themed Newborn Photography

Liam’s parents are Harry Potter fans, so they wanted to include some images that would reflect that. They had lots of Potter paraphernalia at home, so they brought a stuffed owl, wand, Gryffindor wrap, and glasses. The pictures turned out so cute! Shannon and Billy ended up purchasing a 16-inch wooden block with one of the Harry Potter themed baby photos on it.

Baby Boy Newborn Photography Session

For the rest of our baby pictures we used neutrals like white and gray, as well as some deep blues–always a classic choice for baby boys. We also incorporated lots of soft, fuzzy textures. I love textures like that, and using them in different colors helped tie our photos together.

Liam woke up briefly during this Somerset NJ newborn photography session, so we got a couple of awake shots. Love those calm, sleepy baby eyes!
