Baby Session Planning

Oh my goodness, this little girl was adorable! Mom booked a session with me after hearing about me from a friend. She checked out my webpage and loved what she saw. I’m so glad she chose me to be her Flemington NJ Newborn Photographer, because I loved meeting her and little Harper Grace.

Newborn Photo Shoot Details

Mom wasn’t really looking for specific colors or themes, so we did a variety. Pink, purple, soft green. She looked amazing in all of them! We wanted to keep this session very feminine, so we used flowers and bows in addition to the pretty colors.

Harper was just a little bit older than most newborns I work with. I prefer to get babies into the studio six to fourteen days after birth. They tend to be very sleepy during those first two weeks of life, and are easy to work with. This little girl was eighteen days old at the time of our session–and not the least bit sleepy! Luckily for us, she also wasn’t fussy at all. She was the cutest things, and just smiled and looked at me the whole time. She even waved! I loved those gorgeous eyes and the wonderful expressions she gave me.
