Baby Photography Session Planning
Sarika expressed interest in doing a newborn and family photo session with me. She had been referred by a friend. I was happy to book her and her family for a session shortly after the arrival of their daughter, Amara. Sarika wanted some black and white photos, natural shots, and a minimalist look.
Newborn session details and props
Although we used primarily neutral colors in this newborn photography session, we did throw in some bright, fun elements. Sarika brought along some fabrics she had worn for her wedding to use in Amara’s pictures. The colors were so vivid and beautiful! Amara looked gorgeous in her mom’s wedding material and jewelry. What a special way to photograph your little girl! Personal touches like this really make a session unique and memorable for the family. I always encourage clients to bring items that are important to them if they want to include these in photos.
Big brother Arav did great with his little sister. They were so sweet together, and he loved cuddling and kissing her. I loved getting photos of the whole family too. What a good-looking group!
