I did a maternity model shoot for Cristin before baby Josie arrived, and was also the newborn photographer for her cousin. It was great to have this little one and her family in the studio for baby and family pictures! Mom told me before the session that Josie’s nursery was bohemian whimsical. She also mentioned that she had mermaid and unicorn pictures in the nursery. It was easy to choose a color scheme after that! We used lavender, muted pink, and teal. I loved the light and pretty colors!

Mom also planned ahead for big brother Luke. Three-year-old boys have a lot of energy, so she packed some toys to keep him busy if he had a hard time. He ended up doing great for me! He is such a happy little guy and I love the picture of him with his baby sister.

Newborn Session Details

The colors were perfect for this little girl, and she even woke up during the session to show off her beautiful eyes! This family was so sweet together and I loved capturing the great relationship they have.

Although most of our photos were colorful, we also got a black-and-white photo of mom, dad, and baby. Mom told me she had seen  similar pictures and really liked that look, so I made sure to include it. I’m always happy to work with my clients’ preferences. My goal is to create images you love and to capture those precious moments in your family’s life, so my photography style is all about you!
