Hoboken Newborn Photo Session Planning

This Hoboken newborn photo session was so much fun. I always ask mom and dad if they want to include anything special to them into the photo shoot. These parents surely delivered. Both Emily and Sinan had very exciting careers. They wanted to incorporate their jobs into the photo session. Emily was an oral surgeon and she decided on bringing her stethoscope as well as medical books to the session. Sinan was an engineer and his job was to built robots. I have to admit that, next to my own job of course, building robots has to be the coolest occupation you can get. When I read their pre-session questionnaire and noticed that robots are needed, I ordered a cute plushy robot toy for the baby to hold. I think the final image came out just beautifully.

Baby Boy Portraits

Atlas was just a dream to work with. When I first saw his name I knew I have to create a set up that will be meaningful and special and reflect his amazing name and heritage. In order to do so, I have ordered a small globe to showcase his parents love of travel and adventure.

The rest of the set ups were quiet neutral and simple to showcase Atlas and his beautiful black hair. This little boy was really a perfection and he allowed me to do all the poses I planned. He was so relaxed and easy going that at the end of the session he even game me the most amazing awake look.
