Newborn Photography Session Dunellen NJ
I was so happy to hear from Paul and Laura back in October. They were expecting a new little addition in December and I was determined to fit them in my schedule. I photographed their first baby boy, Ben, who was an absolute dream during his newborn session, and couldn’t wait to see the newest member of this wonderful family. Hanging out with Paul and Laura always feels like being with good friends. They are a super laid back couple and their babies sure take after them. Connor was curious for a while but eventually got tired and dozed off into a nice, deep sleep. Some babies start off alert, looking around, checking things out. As long as they are content and not crying and wiggling, I never stop taking photos. Parents love awake photos and I take every single opportunity to deliver that eyes-wide-open shot for them. Sometimes it is not an easy task since babies don’t normally stare at the camera, but Connor gave me an amazing awake shot, which made all of us very happy.
Session
For his session, Laura had asked for blues with a touch of yellow. Paul wanted a shot with Connor holding his police badge. A lot of my clients have careers in public service and I love using those special symbols to showcase that. These photos have so much meaning and will always be cherished not only by mom and dad but by the children as well.
I was very happy with the way Connor’s photos turned out. I can’t wait to see those cute boys and their amazing parents again in the near future!
