Yellow Lollipop Photography is a Flemington baby photographer located in Whitehouse Station NJ, which is just about 15 minutes away. I cover pretty much the whole Hunterdon and Somerset county area with clients from all over NJ, PA and NY. I am so thankful for all of you who choose me to photograph your families regardless of any distance you need to travel.
Naomi contacted me a few months ago and wanted a session as soon as possible. Her little man Gabriel was born premature at 31 weeks. At almost 3 months old he was still pretty tiny. Usually I do not consider a 3-month-old to be a newborn, but decided to try and treat his session as such. Since Naomi never had a newborn session done due to Gabriel’s time spend in NICU, I thought she deserved some sleepy, curly photos of her little boy.
When I first saw Gabriel I fell in love right away. He had such huge brown eyes, a head full of hair, and was just so perfectly chubby ! I love baby rolls 🙂 Naomi followed my prep sheet very closely, which made things much easier during the session. Gabriel was fed, tired and very sleepy. As soon as I put him on a beanbag, he curled up into a ball and snoozed away! I was able to do his whole session in less than an hour and it went amazingly. If you have a baby that was born premature, you can still get those sleepy, curly photos during a later session! All it takes is a little work, patience, and some sleepy magic dust 🙂
