Bergen County Newborn and Sibling Photo Session
This has to be one of my favorite newborn and sibling photo sessions of all time! Both Zoey and James are the sweetest and cutest kids. They win the smile contest every time! Just love them 🙂 Sibling sessions can be challenging at times since we can’t predict how older siblings will react to the new baby. Some are loving and from the start. However, some children can be jealous and want nothing to do with the baby. When posing the baby with a sibling, I make sure the pose and set up is completely safe. I would never pose a newborn with a small toddler holding him, nor will I put a baby in a prop with an unsupervised sibling near by. Some of the poses we see on the internet are adorable, but if I feel such a set up is not safe for the baby, I come up with an alternative. Safety is always my number one concern during any newborn and sibling photo session.
Nicolette’s Session
Zoey and James were amazing for their sister’s session. Both are four years old so I felt comfortable putting Nicolette in their arms with mommy sitting close by in case they got tired. They both did an amazing job. I can see they are already great helpers!
Katharine knew she was expecting a little girl so we planned a very girly session. Lots of pink and peach, gold and shimmer, and crowns for the little princess, Nicolette. She was a perfect little bundle, with beautiful features and such amazing lips. At first she fought a little bit and didn’t want to sleep, but after some feeding and cuddling, she drifted off and let us do what we wanted. We managed to get so many beautiful photos. I had so much fun editing the gallery. Mommy absolutely loved it, and I am so glad I was able to capture these special moments for her and her family. Congratulations!
