Newborn with sibling photo session ideas
Many of my clients ask me about newborn with sibling photo session ideas. Families worry about bringing a sibling to a newborn session, especially toddlers. I make it clear that I never have any expectations when it comes to small children but I do try my best to capture babies with their big brother or a sister. Most of the time we all end up having a great time and clients receive beautiful images of all their children.
Gabriella’s Newborn Session
We had a lot of fun during Gabriella’s newborn with sibling photo session. I have photographed Gia, the big sister, on few ocassions before and she is a real life baby doll. Not only cute as a button but sweet and playful as well. We played Peek-a-boo, got to use my tickling wand and my squeeky toys to make Gia relaxed and happy.
I think the key to successful newborn with sibling photo session is to treat the photo shoot as a big playdate. Never force the older sibling to do anything, never get upset if they don’t cooperate and have fun yourself. Make them relaxed enough that they want to take photos and they give you genuine smiles. We definitely accomplished that with Gia.
