Feminine Photo Shoot NJ
Choosing a color scheme is an important part of designing your newborn photo session. If you’re looking for girly you can’t go wrong with pink! Pink comes in so many different shades from blush pink to mauve to dark maroon color that everyone can find a shade they love. From swaddles and teddy bears to flower crowns and cute little tutus, I have pretty pink options of just about everything. Other great colors for girls include purple, peach/coral, and cream.
NJ Photography Session Prop Ideas
Caps are great for both boys and girls, but with a girl you also have lots of beautiful headband options. Lacy bonnets, tiny, dainty bows, beautiful flower halos–my NJ photography studio has a head accessory for every look.
Textures for Newborn Photos
Texture is sometimes overlooked, but it’s crucial in newborn photography. Soft, fluffy textures are perfect for a new baby. With girls, I also like to use smooth silk or satin-style fabrics to give a delicate sheen, smooth items like pearls, or lace for an elegant touch.

Many parents have a theme already picked out for their little girls’ nursery. Maybe it’s flowers and woodlands, mermaids/sea, or princess.
