If you’re a minimalist, we can absolutely go easy on the props. In many cases, a wooden bed or bucket, a little teddy bear, or pretty bouquet of flowers is all you need to make your pictures stand out. In photos like these, baby is the focus.

Sometimes, simplicity is in the details. One idea for keeping your newborn pictures both simple and creative is to get closeups and detail shots. Those perfect tiny toes, baby lips, or delicate eyelashes are things we can focus in on to showcase the details while still keeping things clean and simple.
