Newborn Photography Hunterdon Medical Center
My long time dream was to have my professional Newborn Photography Hunterdon Medical Center permanently displayed at their maternity unit. I am proud to announce that in 2020 my dream became reality. I could not be happier and thankful for having been given this honor not only on professional but personal level as well.
I’ve delivered my own 3 boys at this Hunterdon County hospital and loved the experience every time. From a welcoming atmosphere, greatly equipped rooms to amazing nursing care, every delivery was made so much easier and more comfortable at HMC. Not to forget the short distance of 15 minutes from my home and studio!
Newborn Photo Display at HMC
I was very humbled when HMC marketing department called me to inquire about my Newborn Photography Hunterdon Medical Center services. Not only was I interested in offering Fresh 48 sessions to all moms delivering at Hunterdon Medical Center but I had plans to decorate their newly renovated maternity unit as well. Working with Jen, the head of maternity at HMC was such pleasure.
I have to admit that the hardest part was deciding which images to include in the newborn photo display at HMC. Please keep in mind that during my photography career I’ve met and photographed over 1000 babies! It took a while to sort through all the newborn photos and choose the final selection for the newborn photo display. I’ve wanted to include babies of different gender, size and race. Show them in a variety of poses from blanket poses to props poses. In addition I wanted to showcase siblings and parents too.
The goal was to show new parents delivering in HMC that no matter what vision they have for their own professional newborn session, I can make that happen. To top it all, I wanted to chose images that had soft colors and natural posing. Pictures that evoked calm, joy and love. Photos that would make new parents smile 🙂
NJ Hospital Baby Photography
The final selection consisted of 15 large acrylic portraits. I knew it was very important for the Hunterdon Medical Center staff to be able to quickly and effectively clean the wall art without damaging it. As a result I’ve decided to go with acrylic rather then canvas or wood. Acrylic art has a sleek, modern look which goes great with hospital decor. As I’ve mentioned, I’ve chosen soft, calming colors to complement the light cream walls of HMC Maternity Unit.
HMC Maternity Unit had a lot of wall space I was able to decorate. I’ve decided to install 4 image collages on longer walls and then I’ve selected 3 separate newborn photos as stand alone displays. The final product looks absolutely amazing and I am so proud of it. Newborn Photography Hunterdon Medical Center never looked better if I say so myself.
Baby Pictures at the HMC Maternity Unit
Having my Newborn Photography Hunterdon Medical Center is a dream come true. Every time I get a new mom in the studio and hear how much she’d enjoyed looking at my photos on hospital walls, I feel really proud and humble. All the new parents welcoming their precious babies get to look and admire my newborn photos. I can only hope that those pictures put a smile on their faces when they get ready to welcome their own little one.
