Newborn photography digital composites are especially popular among traveling photographers. Instead of bringing tons of props, wraps and other accessories to client’s homes, they are able to do simple set ups and work their magic later on. Outdoor digital backdrops are also popular since they offer opportunities that might not be available due to weather or location. If a client wants a whimsical set up among the trees we can do it. It is much easier to use a digital backdrop rather then actually driving into the woods and trying to recreate a scene there.

I know that every parent wants their babies photographed together but that is not an easy task, especially if we are dealing with toddlers and newborns. Older siblings might not want to sit next to the baby but we can still create a photo by applying a digital composite. Simply by taking 2 photos together and putting them together in photoshop , we are able to give mom and dad a perfect photo of their babies.

As part of my baby questionnaire I ask about mom and dad’s hobbies, special things about them and their families, anything memorable they would like to include during the session. That gives me an idea on what sort of newborn photography digital composite they would like. I like surprising my clients with few special digital composites made just for them and their little one.
