What an amazing Readington NJ Newborn Photo Session this was. Melissa and James live near me and my photography studio in Whitehouse Station. This made Yellow Lollipop Photography an obvious choice when they were searching for someone to do the newborn photo session for their little one. Baby Emma was nine days old at the time of this session, and such a cute, petite little thing!
We knew we wanted to include big sister Lily during this Readington NJ Newborn Photo Session. Mom and Dad mentioned having seen a picture of a big sister next to a baby in a basket on my home page and really liked that setup. I did a similar one for them with Lily and Emma. We also did one of my signature shots, with Lily holding her baby sister close while the two of them lie down on a soft rug.
Sometimes I have to use composites for these types of images, especially when an older sibling is still very young themselves. Safety is a top priority for me in my work as a newborn photographer. In this case though, Lily was mature enough to safely interact with Emma in the studio. It was wonderful to watch them together! I was so happy with how this Readington NJ Newborn Photo Session turned out.
Mom requested neutral colors for Emma’s newborn photo session. We used lots of beautiful creams and whites, with a splash of pink and some flowers and pearls for variety. Color plays such a huge role in newborn photography. Although just about any color combination can work well, different color schemes evoke different moods. It’s important to consider what kind of a feel you want your newborn images to have, and choose colors accordingly. In this particular session I have used some of my favorite props and accessories from Luneberry and Rozzi Rayne Studio Props.
It was a pleasure to have Emma and her family in my photo studio! If you’re interested in Readington NJ Newborn Photo Session, please contact me. I would love to discuss details with you!
