Summit NJ Newborn Photographer
Lauren found me on Google when searching for Summit NJ Newborn Photographer. After exploring my site said she fell in love with my newborn gallery. I’m so glad she did! It was a pleasure to be Summit NJ Newborn Photographer for her little one. Lauren, her husband Matthew, and her mother Renee drove the half hour from Summit and brought sweet baby Chloe to my photography studio in December, just a few days before Christmas!
Newborn Session Styling
Chloe was this couple’s first baby, and the first grandchild and great-grandchild for their extended family, so this newborn studio session was extra special! It was wonderful to meet the whole family and to share in their joy at Chloe’s arrival.
We used a deep red swaddles for several of our photos in keeping with the Christmas season. Lauren also wanted some general “girly” pictures, with blush pink and cream. Such a sweet and classic look for a baby girl. The floral headband went perfectly with it as well.
Include grandparents in photos
Grandma wasn’t planning to be in any of the photos, but Chloe’s session wouldn’t have been complete without a three-generation picture: Grandma, mom, and baby girl. I can definitely see some of Renee and Lauren in little Chloe, although it looks like she inherited her daddy’s dark hair! Family relationships are one of the sweetest and most precious things in life, and I love to capture that in my photographs.
Black-and-white photos are timeless, and I include them in a lot of my sessions. It’s a classic look and works with just about any color scheme. The black-and-white parent and child photos I took during this session turned out beautifully.
