When people are looking at colors for their baby girl photo session and want something less traditional than pink, purple is often my first suggestion. It’s still very feminine, and we can completely change up the look and feel of your photos depending on the shade we use. Light lavender is sweet and spring-like. Deeper plums give depth and elegance. And mauves can let you tread the line between pink and purple for the best of both worlds!
Purple also goes well with a surprising variety of colors, including green, pink, peach or coral, and (my personal favorite) yellow.
