Baby Boy Photography Ideas
Having a hard time coming up with baby boy photography ideas? As a mom to three boys myself, I’m here to help! Many people seem to have an easier time thinking of photo ideas for baby girls, but there are just as many options for boys too.
Color Ideas for Boys
Blue may be the first color that springs to mind, but green is another very popular option. (And have you thought about my personal favorite–yellow?) Neutral colors like brown, white, cream, or gray are also perfect for either gender. Think about your own color preferences. Maybe you like a more earth-toned, natural look. Or maybe you’re a sports fan and would love to incorporate the colors of your favorite team. Whether you’re looking for muted or bright, there are plenty of colors and shades to choose from!
Photography Props for Boys
Buckets are a some of Baby Boy Photography Ideas, and I have some great ones at my New Jersey photo studio! Themed props (like stars and moon) are also fun, and can be combined with deeper colors to make them perfect for boys. Woven baskets, rustic drawers or miniature beds, and objects with natural textures make great props. And if you have personal items from home that you’d like to incorporate, you’re welcome to bring those too.
