Creative photographs of newborn babies
I love what I do and I love offering Creative photographs of newborn babies . Being able to capture such fleeting memories for local families is the greatest honor. I love being creative, making unique set ups, playing around with fabrics, color and textures to suit my clients needs and likes. Before every newborn session my client receive a Newborn Questionnaire where they tell me their vision for the photo shoot.
Some mention their favorite colors, their jobs and hobbies. Some mention the style they are attracted to, such as whimsical, vintage, fun, classic. Whatever their wishes are, I try my very best to make them come true. Many times I buy new props, new accessories, work on a new set up or poses to create the perfect scene for the newborn session. To make creative photographs of newborn babies I often use digital backdrops to help me design an even more magical images.
Digital Backdrops to the Rescue
Digital Backdrops allow me to create unique and whimsical images without having to build elaborate set ups. They are much more cost and time effective but most importantly they are much safer. Newborn babies simply can’t be in certain environments, weather conditions, or placed on certain props.
As a newborn photographer I have to be very aware of the situations and set up I place tiny babies in. Creative photographs of newborn babies require a lot of skill, experience and training not only in posing but most importantly safety.
Where to find digital backdrops ?
I am always on a lookout for original and creative digital images. Most of my backdrop come from vendors on Etsy specifically from an amazing photographer Luisa Dunn. She designs set ups that are whimsical and fun, yet still classic and timeless. Just the type my clients love and request for their own sweet babies.
I’ve recently started creating and selling my very own line of digital backdrops.
