Newborn Photo Session Planning
This family is one that I have had in my photography studio before. They were gifted a maternity photo shoot when they were pregnant with their oldest daughter, Mirabel, and loved the photos so much they came back to me for her newborn pictures. I was so happy when they contacted me about a newborn photography session for their new little one, Addison.
I always send my clients a questionnaire to fill out before they come in. It gives me a better idea of what they’re looking for so I can get the right props and outfits together for them to choose from. Mom (Christina) wanted nice bright colors or neutral, light backgrounds with pops of color. We did a little of both!
Addison’s Newborn Photography Session
Stephen and Christina certainly do make the most beautiful little girls! Love their dark hair and eyes, and those adorable rosy cheeks. We incorporated lavender, pink, and aqua into little Addison’s session, as Mom had told me those were colors she preferred. They all went beautifully with Addison’s fair skin and dark hair, and all of our images turned out gorgeous! Amazing quality props from my favorite vendors, Luneberry, Rozzi Rayne and Roses and Ruffles always help with these amazing set ups.
Mirabel did great with her little sister. I love getting sibling shots, and the good news is that they are possible even if the older sibling hasn’t quite figured out how to be totally safe around baby.
