A baby and family photo session is the perfect way to welcome a new little one into your life! Those special relationships will last forever, and capturing them in that moment, when they’re still so new, is a beautiful way to record the beginning of your baby’s life.

Seeing the love between family members at this special time is one of my favorite things about being a newborn and family photographer! It is so rewarding to record those emotions for people. Photo Session Planning

What an adorable family! They live in Lebanon, Hunterdon county NJ and contacted me before their little one arrived to schedule a baby and family photo session. At the time they reached out to me, they didn’t know if baby would be a boy or a girl. Turns out it was a girl! I was delighted to welcome them to my studio.

Photo Session Details

We decided to keep it simple and use neutral colors for this session. This is always a good way to go for family photos, as it looks natural for everyone. They also wanted these photos to look good anywhere in their home, so opted to avoid a strong color scheme. The photos turned out beautifully and everyone looks so great! I used a lot of props and accessories from one of my favorite vendors Rozzi Rane Studio Props.

Older siblings Annemarie and Liam were so good and well-behaved for me. They were great about posing, very gentle with their little sister, and have wonderful smiles!

Mom really wanted to get some shots of all three of the children together. This was the first time she and dad had ever gotten professional newborn pictures of any of their little ones, so they really wanted it to be a family affair. I was happy to provide the balance of family, newborn, and sibling shots they were looking for.
