I so enjoyed doing this maternity photography session for Victoria and Spencer. They live in Lebanon and were expecting their first baby at the time I took these photos. What a sweet couple! It was great to get to know them and capture this special time in their lives.
I ended up doing their newborn session later once baby arrived. They had a boy, but didn’t know at the time of this maternity photography session what gender baby would be.
Victoria looked amazing pregnant! She is so tiny and had the best baby bump! What a beautiful woman. It’s easy to see why Spencer is head over heels in love with her. 🙂 He was so attentive to her. It was a pleasure to watch them together. They were clearly so excited about this adventure!
We used three different maternity gowns: a lacy cream one, a flowing deep burgundy, and a more cute/casual navy blue and white. Victoria looked gorgeous in all of them! There are a lot of different maternity gown styles to choose from, and I keep a good variety at my studio for client use.
It’s very popular to do maternity photography sessions outdoors. I offer both outdoor and studio sessions for expectant mothers, and they both turn out beautifully every time! Check out my maternity gallery to get a feel for which type of session is right for you.
Most of my outdoor maternity sessions take place on weekday evenings at various parks in Hunterdon County. I find that 30-37 weeks is usually the best time to book your maternity photography shoot. Your spouse/partner is obviously welcome to be a part of it, as are any other family members you’d like to include. A new baby is such an amazing thing, and I want your entire family to be a part of this special stage of life!
