Photo Session Planning

Sweet Ellie came to my photography studio for her one year birthday session! I’ve known her parents for years. They used to work in the daycare my boys went to, and I’ve loved doing children photography for them. I did Ellie’s newborn and milestone sessions as well. Her mom and dad got a Baby Bundle for all three sessions. A bundle is a great way to go if you know you’ll be back for more photos. Contact me if you’d like to learn more.

Ellie’s Children Photography Session

Ellie likes mermaids, and her one-year birthday party theme was Under the Sea, so I did the setup to reflect that. Lots of teal and purple, plus shells, pearls, and starfish! I love doing personalized setups like this for my clients, and have plenty of props to choose from.

We also did some more general girly shots and some seasonal pictures. Mixing and matching like this is definitely an option, and a fun way to capture a variety of photos.

Ellie is such an adorable baby. Her eyes are so pretty, and she is always happy and smiling. I love that gummy grin babies have before all their teeth have come in! She had a great time playing with her string of pearls and did an awesome job for me the whole time.

Children Photography

Children photography sessions take place in my home studio on weekday mornings. I provide a fun, relaxed atmosphere for your little one, and can create the perfect setup for a milestone or birthday session. If you have specific items you’d like to bring, you’re welcome to do that, but all I need is you and baby! My studio is well stocked with everything you’ll need for a fun and personal session.
