I just love this kiddo! Molly is three years old now. I did her newborn session and have done a milestone session with her every year since. She is so sweet and has the most amazing red hair! I always have fun with her and her mom, Jenn. What a pleasure to do this children photo session with them.
Molly brought her teddy bear to this session. She loved playing with the balloons as well, and we included plenty of those! Having children in my studio is the best. Since Molly and I have known each other for a while we’re very comfortable together. Even though the real business of this children photo session was for me to take pictures, we made sure to get some play time in too. After all, what’s the point of photos if not to capture happy memories? She loved it when I tickled her, and she has the most infectious laugh!
We used lots of different colors in this session to reflect Molly’s bubbly, exuberant personality. Balloons and party hats accentuated the party theme. Helping children feel safe and comfortable in my studio is one of my primary goals. If that means having them bring along a toy, playing for a while, or providing some fun distractions, we can always work that in.
Children grow up so fast. Before you know it your tiny baby is a toddler, and then your toddler is off to preschool! It’s so important to capture those fleeting stages of growth before they’re gone. A children photo session is the perfect way to preserve those memories forever. Interested? Check out my child gallery for more examples of these types of sessions. Or contact me directly. I would love to hear from you!
