Danny’s mom, Jenn, is a long-time client of mine. I have been doing children photography for her since I did her older daughter’s newborn session three years ago. Big sister Molly came as well. I love that kid! She’s so happy, always smiling, and always makes me giggle. It was wonderful to see her again. We made sure to get some sibling shots so we could include her in the session.
Danny was so sweet. He likes to suck his thumb and always wants mommy to hold him. He was a little uncertain about having her let go long enough for me to take pictures, but we managed! I always try to make little ones feel safe and comfortable in my studio. I want it to be a good experience for everyone, so I use lots of comfy blankets, stay flexible, and pay attention to how the little one is feeling.
We used mostly neutral colors for this children photography session. Soft blue, cream, and white. I absolutely loved the suspenders Danny wore–what a cutie! I also love Molly and Danny’s red hair. It’s so fun and adorable. I loved getting some pictures of the two of them together.
A children photography session is the perfect way to capture those precious moments in your child’s life. I work with each of my clients to make sure their session is unique and exactly what they want. It’s amazing how quickly time flies, and it’s important to record each stage of your little one’s development. I love having toddlers and babies in my studio and am experienced in photographing them safely and comfortably. Six or seven months of age is a great time for a sitter session, and of course, the one-year mark is an incredibly popular time to get updated baby pictures.
