NJ baby and family photographer
One of the perks of being a Berkley Heights NJ Baby and Family Photographer is knowing that your client is expecting a baby before the news reaches everyone else. This was the case with Jennifer. Back in November, she had asked me to help her with her birth announcement. we’ve decided to do it during my Christmas mini sessions. We had Aria, who was being promoted to Big Sister, hold a cute sign saying “Santa, I want a baby brother or a sister for Christmas. ” It was special and adorable.
Jackson’s Session
Fast forward to May, when little Mr. Jackson made his appearance. Absolutely adorable with his big brown eyes (that followed me everywhere) and a cute kissy lips. Since Jackson was awake when he arrived at this newborn session. We’ve decided to swaddle him up to make him more comfortable for family and sibling photos. Aria did amazing with her little brother and we got some gorgeous images of the two of them.
Sibling Photos
Although Aria was mature enough to hold the newborn in a safe manner, some children may not be. Every time I take sibling photos , I make sure the pose and set up are completely safe for both children. Often times it involves creative digital composites where I take 1 photo of the baby alone placed safely in a prop and then take a second photo with a sibling next to that same prop, this time empty, without the baby. Later I combine them together in Photoshop to create a beautiful sibling photo. Always safety first for this NJ Baby and Family Photographer.
Fun session styling
Jackson’s session was so much fun! Since daddy is a big fan of Star Wars we just had to include Star wars theme in one of the set ups. I think the Yoda image we’ve created was off the charts. Definitely made me smile during editing. Although little guy didn’t want to sleep that much we were able to capture his curious personality and see his gorgeous eyes. Win-win for this Berkley Heights NJ Baby and Family Photographer.
I feel so blessed to be able to do my job and bring smiles to my client’s faces. I can’t wait to see this beautiful family again in few months for our annual Christmas photos. This time Aria will have a little brother to pose with 🙂
