Being Top Far Hills Baby Photographer is such an exciting job. You get to meet so many beautiful babies and their amazing families. Sometimes I have to pinch myself that I get to play with babies for a living 🙂
Little Miss Isla was my first baby session of 2018 and she surely did not disappoint. I take is as a sign of wonderful things to come this year including a lot of cute and sleepy babies! Isla was just pure perfection with her blond hair and rosy cheeks. She slept the entire session so I couldn’t even tell you what color were her eyes.
Mom and dad came recommended to me by a wonderful lady who used to teach my son’s preK class. I remember dropping him off and school and we would always chat about the latest sneak peek I posted and how cute those babies were.

Newborn Photography Session
We started the session off with parents shots, which are quickly becoming my favorite. As a Far Hills Baby Photographer, witnessing a mom hugging her newborn baby is so pure and magical it always takes my breath away. New dad holding his baby girl, so small in his big arms… simply precious. I am so blessed to be able to witness and capture these beautiful yet fleeting moments.
For the baby part of the session, Tara’s vision was to incorporate neutral base colors with pops of brighter colors. She also wanted to add a holiday touch to one of the set ups since Isla was born so close to Christmas. I’ve selected a sand color backdrop as well as grey textured one.
Both of these colors worked perfectly with all the neutral accessories I chose for Isla and complemented her complexion as well. Then again , when you are 2 weeks old and cute as a button, everything looks great on you! We’ve ended a session with few prop shots while the little one was sleeping away. I guess the combination of warmth, swaddle and my magic touch did the trick 🙂 Isla’s session made this Far Hills Baby Photographer very happy.
